Elias Nawawieh joined The Isaac Ishmael Initiative in 2018. He co-leads our Holy Land tours and is the leader our refugee work in Jordan and beyond. Elias grew up in a Palestinian Christian home in Bethlehem, where he lived until 2016.

He is trained as a photo journalist and has been part of the organization Musalaha’s reconciliation program between Israeli and Palestinian youth. Elias and his wife Katie and their son George reside in Montana.
