Advocacy

More people worldwide are displaced today than any time in history. More than 65 million have been uprooted from their homes and been forced to relocate, either within their own country or beyond the borders.

The Isaac Ishmael Initiative serves as an advocate for displaced persons in helping people have a voice in the world, and in finding new homes. Our work includes meeting with government agencies in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East to advocate for human rights. We are serving under-represented people in the Kurdish region of Iraq, in the West Bank, and in Jordan.

We Wish You Safety and Good Health

In this time of uncertainty, we wish our friends around the world safety and good health.

We are grateful for all of you who support The Isaac Ishmael Initiative in a variety of ways. May God be gracious to you in this Time of Corona.

Our work in Jordan, Iraq, Israel and the West Bank is paused out of caution for everyone involved. Please pray for refugees and other displaced people in the Middle East who are affected in dramatic ways by the virus.

For those who are registered for our Holy Land trip from October 23 – November 1, we will make a decision by July 1 if the trip will happen or not. If postponed, you will have the choice of a full refund or to hold a place for the 2021 tour.
